In March 2020, Charity Challenge had a group of 100 trekkers from all over the world trek 100km to Mt. Cotopaxi, 5,897m (19,347ft), one of the highest active volcanoes in the world, to raise awareness and money for mental health charities.
The group was joined by mental health ambassadors Geoff McDonald, Poppy Jaman OBE and Michelle Morgan, who motivated and inspired participants and provided a safe environment in which to discuss the stigma of mental ill health, and to create advocates for change.
